I graduated in 2018 and for the first years of my career I worked in many different Hospital Emergency Departments, as well as resus rooms in UPAs – intermediate care facilities in Brazil. Since 2022, I’ve also started working remotely solving people’s health problems via telemedicine. Along with medicine, traveling is a big part of my life, and it was during one of my trips that the idea of My Doctor Abroad emerged.

Our Story
The idea of the company was born in 2021, during a road trip through Brazilian coast. After seeing travelers getting sick while working in a hostel, I realized how difficult it was to seek medical assistance when you’re not able to speak the country’s native language in a foreign healthcare system. That’s why, by offering multilingual experienced doctors, My Doc Abroad strives to eliminate the stress of this experience, to make the process as easy as possible and to care for you, wherever you are, in a language you are comfortable with.
